Since September 2023, the Centre for Strategic Leadership Development (CSLD) has been championing innovation and business excellence through its Enterprise Management Seminar (EMS), a targeted initiative designed to empower entrepreneurs in the health sector with essential enterprise skills. The program has not only equipped participants with practical knowledge but also launched a mentorship phase for successful candidates, providing them with personalized guidance to accelerate their growth and impact.
The second (2nd) phase of EMS is currently underway, building on the momentum of the first (1st) phase and expanding opportunities for even more innovators in healthcare entrepreneurship.
In a parallel effort, the Centre, in collaboration with Moi University's School of Business and Economics, is working on developing new curriculum modules tailored to real-world business needs. This collaborative effort has included a series of virtual planning sessions and has recently culminated in the completion of the curriculum, now awaiting final approval before it’s rolled out.
